About Eloy
"The faint smell of soldering iron and fresh guitar strings reminds me of the countless hours spent inside my Full Sail University recording lab. Having earned my BS in Recording Arts, I view the fretboard as a landscape of interconnected sonic possibilities rather than just a series of static shapes.
Over the last 13 years, I have successfully guided 287 students through the complexities of electric and acoustic technique. Whether we are exploring fingerpicking, lead guitar, or the nuance of blues progressions, I prioritize a deliberate approach that values precision over speed. My teaching focuses on helping you internalize improvisation, soloing, and the subtle interplay of rhythm guitar.
We spend time on scales, modes, and the practical application of reading tabs to ensure you have a complete technical toolkit. My goal is to make the process of songwriting feel intuitive by teaching you how to organize your ideas into cohesive musical statements. You will find that my approach prioritizes your growth through steady, logical steps that build confidence."

"Have you ever wondered why your favorite blues lick sounds thin while a professional recording feels massive? That initial realization is exactly where we begin our work together. We will examine your technique to ensure your foundation is solid. I use my 13 years of experience to demystify complex theory.
We cover everything from improvisation to acoustic dynamics. Improvisation is vital. Monthly recorded review of progress is provided to track your development over time. This keeps the feedback loop tight.
You receive a critique on your rhythm guitar and overall tone. I look forward to hearing your unique voice on the instrument."
