About Marcelo
Graduating with a BA in Economics plus a minor in Math from the University of Texas at Austin provided a strong foundation. Hard work is rarely the only factor in achieving high marks on tough exams. I have spent 10 years teaching and tutoring AP Economics students to simplify complex graphs and models.
My career has focused on helping college applicants and AP students navigate the pressure of these challenging courses. Monetary policy and the money market often confuse even the brightest pupils during their first pass.
I emphasize a method where we work through plenty of examples until the process feels automatic. This approach remains essential for students tackling GDP and inflation concepts or comparative advantage.
My classroom teaching experience ensures that I understand the common stumbling blocks for many learners. I prefer a practical style that focuses on clear logic. You will find that my coaching style is friendly yet focused on the mechanics of the subject. A confident, repeatable approach to every question type is the primary goal for our work together.
