"Many players find their progress stalled by inconsistent tuning or an awkward pick grip that limits their speed. I start by observing your hands on the neck to catch those small habits that prevent fluidity. Before we build a lesson plan, I conduct a thorough diagnostic skills check to see where you stand.
This ensures we waste no time on concepts you already possess. Drawing on my 11 years of gigging, I translate theory into the visceral language of the fretboard.
We might look at grade exam prep or the nuances of intricate fingerpicking. My background as a Latin performer informs how I approach rhythm and sustain. We move through the material at a steady, thoughtful pace.
I ensure every detail is addressed during our time together. We work until the music sounds right."

As a self-taught guitarist with a music degree, I spent 11 years gigging Latin music across Australia to refine my craft. My approach covers everything from blues progressions to complex lead work.
