About Forrest
Numbers often look like tangled yarn on a page when viewed through a neurodivergent lens. I hold a BS Mathematics degree and have spent 8 years helping students navigate complex arithmetic, mensuration, and algebra. My method moves at a pace that respects individual processing speeds while ensuring constant progress.
Students ranging from middle schoolers to AP candidates find clarity in these structured sessions. Developing competition math prep or geometry skills becomes less daunting with this clear, exam-focused approach. Working through a challenging proof with a student is one of the most rewarding parts of my week.

Teaching happens best when the abstract symbols on the whiteboard settle into tangible, logical concepts. 10.0 out of 10 is the standard I aim for in my explanations, whether we are covering basic number sense or advanced calculus.
I make sure the logic is clear and solid even if we need to take a short break to reset. Exam preparation requires a plan, so I provide a roadmap that keeps us on track.
