Holding an MMus Piano Performance from Sydney Conservatorium of Music is secondary to the reality that theory alone lacks soul. The most technical playing often feels the least alive. "Many pianists struggle because they focus on notes rather than the physical sensation of sound. Correcting your posture is often more effective than repeating a difficult passage.
My diagnostic playing assessment identifies hidden gaps in your technique before we build a plan. We integrate jazz improvisation, scales, arpeggios, dynamics, expression, sight reading, pop, contemporary, and pedalling technique.
Drawing on 9 years of teaching focus, I ensure sessions remain practical. You will hear consistent progress in every single session. Finding joy in the process is the ultimate goal."
