About Lily
Conceptual learning is often the most overlooked part of physics because people focus too hard on memorizing formulas. My work involves teaching absolute beginners and adults how to visualize kinematics and optics through graph interpretation.
I hold a PhD in Statistics from Stanford University, which means I view physics through the lens of data and measurable outcomes. With 7 years of quantitative research experience, I bring a unique, high-level perspective to circuit analysis and units and measurements.
I have accumulated 5 years of experience helping students bridge the gap between theoretical physics and applied problem solving. My sessions are conversational and direct, as I prefer to address the friction points in your understanding immediately. We will focus on building the sharp technical skills you need to reach your academic or professional goals.

Do you ever feel like the physics problems you face are designed to hide the actual principles at play? A diagnostic test for every student before we begin allows me to map out exactly where your foundations need reinforcement. I tailor the pacing of our sessions based on how you react to initial problem sets, adjusting the feedback loop to maximize clarity. My PhD in Statistics from Stanford University informs how I teach you to extract data from a physics problem before writing a single equation.
We will spend our time dissecting the logic behind your homework help questions to ensure you can replicate that success alone. The goal is to move from passive listening to active, analytical problem solving during every minute of our time.
