About Yara
"Music provides a language that connects my 13 years of experience in the Australian Latin scene to the students I mentor. I teach because watching a student bridge the gap between tabs and SHEET MUSIC feels rewarding. My journey includes 444 students who have navigated technical challenges alongside me.
I hold a BM Contemporary Music from AIM and bring this foundation to every session. My teaching style adapts to teens, returning learners, and beginners who want to play with confidence.
The process involves patience, persistent practice, and clear communication. I find that rhythm is the heartbeat of all musical growth. Sometimes, the best progress happens when we simply sit with the instrument and focus on the basics of fingerpicking or lead guitar technique. It just happens that way."

"Guitar practice can feel solitary, so I create CUSTOM BACKING TRACKS for your soloing sessions at home. I admit that learning lead guitar can be daunting at first. Grade exam candidates often need these tools to feel like they are jamming with a full band.
You will master acoustic technique and electric technique through structured exercises. We will explore ear training and song maintenance in every hour. Creating a space where you can enjoy the sound of your own progress is the goal."
