About Stephanie
As an American-born Chinese/Taiwanese Californian with nine years of teaching experience across Asia—Nepal, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, and China—I bring a unique and dynamic approach to my work. My journey from a volunteer English teacher to a dedicated educator in Hanoi, Vietnam, fueled my passion for teaching. I also work as an artist and graphic designer, and I'm deeply committed to both fields.

My methods are built on the core pillars of critical thinking, innovation, creativity, and leadership. These pillars will empower you to succeed in learning English for living or traveling in an English-speaking country.
In our sessions, we'll usually start with a chat, then dive into a new lesson, and finish up with some practice.
I have significant international teaching experience (10 years), having taught in Nepal, India, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, and the Dominican Republic, both in classrooms and online. Therefore, working with international students is a familiar and comfortable experience for me.
I work with students of all ages, starting at 6, and I offer sessions in everything from Pre-School, Elementary and High School English, to casual conversation, and Business English.
