About Foster
Students struggling with complex data often come to me feeling stuck. I walk into a session knowing exactly where the confusion starts, usually around p-values or chi-square tests.
Having spent 13 years teaching, I find that a BSc from Carnegie Mellon gives me the clarity to explain statistical inference or R programming without the fluff. My approach is disciplined, focusing on descriptive statistics and correlation until the concept clicks. I assess your current level quickly, identifying the exact gaps in your understanding of significance or data interpretation. It just flows from there.

Getting lost in a messy dataset happens to the best of them. I see people staring at a screen trying to make sense of a p-value, which is where we actually begin the work.
We dismantle the problem into smaller pieces, applying my 13 years of experience to ensure the logic holds up under pressure. Calculations should be straightforward if you have the right framework for statistical inference. We spend our time clearing up those misconceptions about chi-square tests and descriptive statistics.
