About Sienna
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 9 years of experience helping students achieve their musical goals. I hold a **Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA)** and specialize in guiding learners through ABRSM, Rockschool, and university-level piano exams. My teaching focuses on developing both technical skill and creative expression, ensuring students play with confidence and artistry. I believe every student has unique potential, and I work to unlock it through personalized lessons that suit their goals and learning style. Sight reading, improvisation, and performance techniques are integral parts of my lessons, helping students become versatile and independent musicians. I also incorporate progress tracking and practical exercises to ensure steady improvement. My aim is to make learning piano enjoyable and rewarding while building strong fundamentals. I encourage creativity, musical interpretation, and a love for performing. Whether preparing for exams, recitals, or personal growth, I guide students to reach their best. Every lesson is a balance of discipline, exploration, and inspiration. I am passionate about helping students discover their voice on the piano and experience the joy of music.

My teaching approach for piano is centered on helping students build strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence at the keyboard. I believe every lesson should be engaging, structured, and adapted to each student’s goals. Sight reading and improvisation are key parts of my methodology, helping learners become flexible, creative, and independent musicians.
I use **progress tracking** to monitor improvement and set achievable milestones, making every practice session purposeful. Technology is integrated into lessons through virtual piano apps, metronomes, and recording tools, giving students modern ways to learn and practice efficiently. I focus on developing tone, rhythm, and expression, ensuring students play with musicality and confidence.
For students preparing for exams or classical performances, I provide detailed guidance and practice strategies that help them excel without pressure. I also support those interested in creating or improvising music, encouraging them to explore their unique style. Lessons are a balance of structured exercises and creative exploration.
I make sure every student gains strong fundamentals while enjoying the process. My aim is to help them play confidently, think musically, and develop a lasting passion for piano. Every learner leaves lessons more skilled, expressive, and motivated than before.
