About Niall
I am an approachable tutor with experience teaching both academic subjects, mainly Maths, as well as music tutoring. The guitar is such a adaptable instrument which fits into so many genres of playing, the best way to learn is to learn to play the songs you want ton play, it keeps motivation high and encourages practice.
My teaching style is very interactive, the aim is to not just to explain a concept to you but to get you to understand it in a way you could explain to a non-expert. So weather its hammer-ons, barre chords, arpeggios, alternate tunings, scales or something else, you should leave confident in how to incorporate the techniques in your normal playing

I am able to teach from absolute beginners in all genres to those looking to get into fingerstyle playing.
In terms of genre, I specialise in the likes of Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, David Crosby, The Beatles etc. I play acoustic and electric and am comfortable teaching both. I can teach online or in person across Belfast.
Lessons are 1 hour by default but open to extension if requested
