About Jordan
I’m a psychology graduate with a focus in child psychology and a genuine interest in helping students feel more confident in themselves and their abilities. My background has given me a strong understanding of how children and young adults learn, communicate, stay motivated, and respond to challenges.
I’m patient, approachable, and encouraging, and I take the time to understand each student rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and working through something until it clicks.
Most importantly, I want students to leave our sessions feeling more capable and confident than when they arrived.

I believe the best tutoring starts with understanding how each student thinks, not simply giving them more work. With a background in psychology and a focus on child psychology, I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, confidence level, and individual goals.
My sessions are supportive, engaging, and structured without feeling rigid. We’ll break difficult concepts into manageable pieces, work through them together, and build strategies the student can eventually use independently. I also focus on the skills behind academic success, including organization, study habits, problem-solving, and confidence.
I’m especially well suited for students who feel overwhelmed, distracted, discouraged, or simply haven’t found a learning approach that clicks for them yet. My goal isn’t just to help a student complete tonight’s assignment. It’s to help them become a more confident and capable learner.
