About Ruth
I’m a qualified English teacher with a CELTA certificate and an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction), offering personalised lessons for students from all backgrounds.
Before teaching, I worked as an investigative journalist, travelling and working across the world. Two of my books have been published. This experience allows me to connect easily with people from different cultures and helps me bring real-life communication skills into my lessons.
I have taught in a variety of settings, including university, college, and online, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual learner.

My rates reflect both my teaching experience and my professional background.
I hold a CELTA qualification and an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction), and I have taught at university and college level, as well as online. Alongside this, I am also a published author of two books and have worked internationally as an investigative journalist.
