About Kecia

Career switchers and bootcamp students often feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of technical requirements in modern software development. To be honest, I sometimes find that even the most dedicated learners struggle to grasp the syntax before they feel the pressure to perform. My 12 years of experience have taught me that true fluency comes from building concepts from the ground up rather than relying on rote memorization.

I earned my BS Computer Engineering degree from Stanford University to gain that foundational clarity myself. I have mentored students at every level, helping them see the logic hidden within the complexity.

Progress is something I measure through actual code execution and the ability to solve problems independently. I keep things warm, patient, and structured to ensure the environment remains productive.

How do you currently navigate the hurdles when code fails to compile or run as expected? My focus remains on deep understanding so the information actually sticks long after the session ends. About the lesson

A short diagnostic test sits on the screen during our first meeting to reveal your precise starting point. This initial assessment creates a clear visual map of your current grasp of classes and objects.

I use these results to build a roadmap that targets your specific gaps in knowledge. Debugging becomes a systematic process as we walk through the STL together.

We examine data structures and operator overloading to see how they function under the hood. You will write code that performs exactly as you intend it to.

Dynamic allocation is demystified through constant practical application throughout our time together. I guide you toward writing real code that solves actual programming problems.
