About Emma
I have tutored before and have completed my Mathematics Education master's degree from Boston University.
I will always put my students first throughout our lessons. I love working with all ages K-12 and try to be as efficient as possible while also trying to establish good memories associated with math!

I try to match every student where they are right now, because that's how I wish I was taught back in grade school. I will be prepared with a baseline lesson plan, but I like to get to understand a students' needs first before creating an exact schedule and plan. Scaffolding is important to me - pushing a student to move forward but not overwhelming them.
I am a tutor for any age K-12, with a special interest in elementary and SAT prep mathematics.
