About Alma

I am a sophomore in a prestigious boarding school on a full-ride scholarship for my talents in writing. I am offering lessons in both the areas of writing (creative and academic essays, or poetry) and SAT prep. I can also assist with homework and test prep. I have experience tutoring my peers and children of family friends. I've worked with very young children learning to read, as well as middle school students and younger.

About the lesson

I am able to tutor 8th-grade students and younger in the areas mentioned above. I will request the prompt in advance so that I may prepare the proper materials in order to best help the student with their needs. I will adapt to whatever style of teaching works best for the individual, whether that be editing help, workshopping ideas together, practicing problems, or explaining concepts they may find confusing.
