About Maynard
I am an 18-year-old male that is currently living in South-Africa. I completed my 140-hour TEFL course at the beginning of the year and have been home-schooling an 11-year-old since April 2020. I think this platform will be an excellent way to gain experience in the teaching field.

I would like to teach children between the ages 8 and 12. My teaching style is called the Learner-Centred method, in other words I am both learning and teaching at the same time. I approach each topic by asking the student questions about the topic at hand, afterwards I will thoroughly explain everything they need to know about the topic.
