About Jaskiran
Hello! My name is Jaskiran and I have currently just finished my first year of medical student, heading into my second year. I offer tutoring for GCSE Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and I myself achieved 8,9,9 in these, respectively. I also completed A-level Biology, Maths, and Chemistry in 2024, achieving, A,B,B. I am an enthusiastic and friendly tutor, who has experience from aiding her peers and other students throughout school and sixth form, where I found my love for tutoring. I am looking to help boost the confidence of students in their academic abilities and also help them achieve the best grades they can, by working together and helping them every step of the way!

In my lessons I will always try to adapt to the learning style of my students, so that you get the most out of each session. A typical lesson should last between 1-2 hours, and we will try to systematically work through content together, making sure you have not only memorised but also understood the content. I will regularly test your understanding of the content by going through exam-style questions and past papers with you, especially close to mocks and exams, to ensure you are retaining information. This will also help you understand how to tackle each type of exam question you may get asked, preparing you well for your exams. I will also stay in touch with my students throughout the week, between sessions to answer any questions about work I have given, something they have gone over in school, or any extra support they feel they need. My aim is to help build a positive learning environment, where you feel comfortable to ask questions when needed and help you achieve the best grade you can.
