A musician of 25+ years and a teacher for 12+ years, John Glines has taught all genres of music to all ages, with a focus on guitar and comfortably understanding the instrument, and is always keen on taking on new students.
John currently works at a number of music schools as a guitar/bass/theory/voice teacher and session guitarist.
John holds a degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Northwestern University, as well as degrees in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction.
I hold a degree in Classical Guitar from Northwestern University, have studied under numerous phenoms in the guitar world, have been playing for over a quarter century, and more.

Perfect! John is a fantastic teacher. He's very knowledgeable in various styles and music theory. Geared lessons towards my personal interests and often provided an abundant amount of materials to help reinforce any concepts we went over and anything I was curious about.

Mr Glines has been an incredible piano teacher for my daughter the past several years! His patience, encouragement, and passion for music have truly made lessons both educational and enjoyable.
