About Reuben
I am 21 years old with a passion for History and Geography. I grew up in Devon before moving to London to experience city life!
I truly believe in the importance of learning both History and Geography, not just to understand our past, but also our present and the themes of the future.
I have dabbled in music through teaching myself piano and guitar. Yet, more importantly, I am excited to share my knowledge and understanding of my subjects with those who need it.

Lessons are tailored to students preparing for their GCSEs and A Levels. My approach to each lesson varies depending on the individual student's strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring that confidence in the subject matter is built coherently. General discussion is also used throughout to facilitate a more comprehensive understanding of each field.
Essay writing and exam technique are at the core of my lessons, as in History, International Relations, and Geography, these skills are vital to academic success. This includes workshops on argument construction, articulating points under timed conditions, essay structure, thesis development, and the effective integration of evidence.
Alongside these practical techniques, lessons are underscored by a solid understanding of key principles, theories, and themes within each subject, so that students possess not just the knowledge, but the ability to apply it effectively in an exam.
Each lesson runs between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on preference.
