About Shenyuan
Hi! I’m a Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I’ve always enjoyed math and physics, especially figuring out how things work and breaking complicated problems into simpler steps.
I’m a patient and easygoing person, and I believe everyone learns differently. When tutoring, I like to understand what the student is struggling with first and then explain things in a way that actually makes sense to them, rather than just giving them formulas to memorize.
I’m comfortable teaching in both English and Mandarin, and I’m happy to work with students from elementary school to Grade 12. Whether you need help with homework, want to prepare for a test, or just want to feel more confident in math or physics, I’d be happy to help!
