About
My name is Michael Sean McGuinness. I have many years of experience as an actor (theatre, TV, and film), acting teacher, and as a playwright and screenwriter. My teaching curriculum is drawn from my training and experience (New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Stella Adler, Stanislavski, techniques drawn from Lee Strasberg, Shakespeare training, stage combat, and Chinese martial arts). I meet you where you are, and I help you grow from there. I'm thorough, I'm demanding, I'm respectful and interested in you as a person (because that impacts what kind of artist you become), and I make training fun (because you can never improve if you don't enjoy what you're doing). I think this work can help make you a better actor. I look forward to meeting you and working with you.
