About Meriem
I’m Fida, a 4th-year medical student at the University of Health Sciences, Algiers, who skipped two grades during my studies, which taught me from an early age to be disciplined, curious, and determined. I’m a fun, open-minded, and flexible person who loves learning, exploring different hobbies, and meeting new people. At the same time, I’m very serious about my goals and I believe motivation and consistency can make a huge difference. As a tutor, I want to share that mindset with my students, encourage them when things feel difficult, and help them believe in their own ability to succeed.

My approach: From Zero to Finals 🩺
My goal is not simply to help you memorize a lesson. I want to make sure you truly understand it, remember it, and feel confident using it when exams come around.
Whether you’re starting from zero or struggling with a subject you’ve already studied, we’ll build your knowledge step by step — from the basics all the way to exam preparation.
How I teach
I adapt my teaching to you, rather than expecting you to adapt to one fixed method.
I use:
* Simple explanations to make difficult concepts feel manageable
* Easy diagrams and visual summaries to help you understand and remember
* Step-by-step reasoning instead of asking you to memorize blindly
* Spaced repetition so important concepts stay in your long-term memory
* Active recall and questions to make sure you can actually retrieve what you’ve learned
* Practice questions and exam-style exercises as you progress
* Regular reviews so that we don’t simply learn something and forget it a week later
From Zero to Finals
We’ll start with the foundations, make sure they’re solid, and progressively build on them.
The goal is to take you from:
“I don’t understand this at all”
→ “Okay, I understand how it works.”
→ “I can explain it myself.”
→ “I can answer questions about it.”
→ “I’m ready for my exam.”
What sets me apart
For me, tutoring isn’t just about finishing the lesson and moving on.
If you have a question, I’ll take it seriously. If my first explanation doesn’t make sense to you, I’ll try another one. We can use a diagram, an analogy, a different explanation, a clinical example — whatever helps you understand.
I don’t believe that someone is “bad at science” just because one way of explaining it didn’t work for them.
I’m also genuinely invested in our goals. If we’re preparing for an exam, your progress matters to me, and I’ll do my best to help you get there.
