Hello! I'm Isaac, and I have been tutoring students and new immigrants in spoken and written English for the last several years. I graduated last year with a degree in Linguistics and can produce A-grade academic writing in any subject. The goal of my class is to help you learn what good academic writing sounds like so that you can do it yourself. To do this, my classes are centered around analyzing actual writing samples (including from you if you'd like!) and demonstrating what sounds good, and showing you how to fix what doesn't sound so good. Along the way, we'll cover some writing theory as well as handy tricks to make the writing process less painful, but the main goal is to offer you practical, straightforward information to help you transform your writing from a liability to an asset.
