About Maria
I want to be honest with you: I do not have a lot of teaching experience. However, in a way that is a good thing. I still remember what it was like to be a student, and thus can find an individualized, unique approach based on personal experience.

I am a young tutor and can easily connect with students.
I usually use textbooks as a guideline but always try to find a personalized and unique approach to every student.
My typical lesson would follow the following format:
1. (If I have already taught this student) Quizzing the student on the materials we learned last class.
2. Ask some basic questions about the new topic to grasp an understanding of the student's current knowledge.
3. Introduce the topic, new terminology, concepts and definitions as necessary. (After introducing the new topic I ask a few questions about the new information, to make sure it was understood by the student).
4. Show how to solve an example problem on the topic.
5. Give the student another another question that we would solve together.
6. Give the student a few more practice questions.
7. Give homework (if applicable).
Each step of the way I always allow students to ask questions and clarifications.
