About Lauren
I am a graduate from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland BA acting course, I left school with Higher English, A grade, and continued work with play and poetry analysis work at drama school along with Shakespeare studies and having performed in two professional Shakespearean productions.

I believe that teaching both drama and English should be fun and kept creative - as both subjects are. For drama I like to keep a more practical approach as I feel you learn best whilst doing but will also tie this in with the technical aspects of breaking down a script/character work etc and using any material the student is currently working on for studies. For English I like to tie in a little bit of drama, especially when it comes down to Shakespeare or poetry but also following the SQA criteria and catering to what the student needs most help with.
