About Iulia Maria
Hi! I’m Iulia, a master's student in Aerospace Engineering, and I’ve loved math for as long as I can remember. I was a math olympiad competitor in school, and in my first year of university I won a bronze medal at the national mathematics competition for university students in Romania.
Along the way, I learned that math isn’t about memorizing formulas. It’s about understanding why things work, and once that clicks, everything gets easier (and a lot more fun!). That’s exactly what I want to share with you.

I believe math should make sense, not just be memorized. I explain the why behind each rule, break topics into small logical steps, and use real-world examples from engineering. You practice with my guidance, and mistakes are welcome: they show us what to work on.
A typical lesson plan could look like this, but I am open to customizing in order to fit you:
5 min: quick check-in on what was hard since last time
25 min: new topic or revision, step by step
25 min: guided practice, moving toward solving on your own
5 min: recap and a short practice set for next time
I’m an Aerospace Engineering master's student and a former math olympiad competitor, with a bronze medal from the national university math competition in Romania. I know the material in depth, and I’m patient, clear, and never judgmental.
The lessons are for middle and high school students at any level: catching up, improving grades and preparing for exams.
