About Adam
I have been teaching and tutoring students for over ten years. A combination of certified teaching, private tutoring, tutoring centers, afterschool programs, and test preparation.
My experience in the classroom was mainly helping students who were at risk of failing, in "interventions" or "seminars" to give them extra one-on-one assistance.
My students have trained with me, passed, and in some cases excelled in their scores for the ASVAB, ACT, SAT, GED, GRE and numerous high school and college math courses.

I am a visual learner but I strive to cater my teaching style to all sorts of learning styles.
My methods involve finding any possible gaps in foundational learning, then building up.
Many students I have worked with either missed important information or just were not applying it correctly. I tutor at a comfortable pace to make sure students have a strong foundation for courses to come.

Details
Please provide a book for material to be learned. I will obtain my own book(s) as needed but will require compensation for books over $50, if agreed upon. I ask for at least 6 hours notice for cancellations. No charge for 2 abrupt cancellations (less than 6 hours notice) per year. Abrupt cancellations after will charge for half of that portion of the single or multiple price ($8 for a single hour in-person, $6.50 per hour for webcam, $7 for 1 of 5x hours, and $6.75 for 1 of 10x hours).
