About Janene
In my very early 20's I turned to yoga as a way to manage my anxiety. I did not fully understand the power of the practice at this time. After many years of self-guided (and some online classes) I joined hot yoga studio. I quickly became addicted to the sweat, focus and subtle shifts I felt happening inside myself. Shortly after, I left for my first teaching training in Bali. I went fully inward, learning about anatomy, philosophy, asana, breathwork and meditation. I fell in love with myself again. I took my second training a few years later after establishing myself part-time at 3 of my local studios. Through the practice, I was able to heal from all of my chronic inflammation, put an autoimmune disease into remission and change negative self-talk that had been secretly crippling me since I was a child. Sharing this practice has become an essential part of my journey and I hope to touch many more hearts with this incredible way of life. Nature lover, ex-chef, high vibes :)

My combination of personal practice, professional training and continued curiosity allow me to create unique guides for each of my students.
Through working with me one on one, we will first establish where you are at in your yoga practice, take into consideration your routine, lifestyle and goals to set the foundation and move forward with intention to create a long-lasting practice you can feel confident about.
My approach is always heart-centered by putting thought into the whole person to support real growth and transformation.
I am open to all levels - my only ask is that you are committed to your practice and open to receive
