About Mostafa
I obtained my PhD in Anatomy, MSc in Anatomy and MBBCh (equals MD) from Mansoura University and Master of Health Profession Education (JMHPE) from Maastricht University, Holland in collaboration with Suez Canal University, Egypt, 2010. I have more than 30 years of experience in teaching Gross Anatomy for medical and paramedical students using lecture/ practical (cadaver) sessions. I have also experience in
teaching Embryology, Histology and Neuroanatomy with Physiological and clinical correlation.

The teaching philosophy is using small group discussion; as tutorials, seminars, and problem-based learning (PBL), team-based (TBL) and self-directed active learning pedagogy. My teaching is active teaching, student- oriented, aiming at life- long self-learning. I teach human anatomy using interactive lectures, online teaching, dissecting human cadavers, using pre-dissected specimens, Plastinated human specimens, plastic models, and technology programs. The teaching is integrated, system- based, functionally and clinically- oriented. I also believe in continuous professional development through participation and running medical education workshops for the teaching staff.
