About Theo
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh last year, but before that I taught at a prep school for 6 months, and in the last year I also taught at a state infant school as a Special Educational Needs Teacher. I love teaching, it is a great way to truly bond with someone. When you can see someone improve academically, it provides great pleasure to myself and, hopefully, them.
As I am now studying to become a lawyer, supporting you through your studies is the ideal way for me to do the same with my studies. That way, we can both help each other move onwards and upwards.
With the right mindset, almost any subject can interest and excite us. Before you realise it, you are better at the subject and enjoying yourself far more. I would love to help make that happen.

Teaching is a process of positive communication: students best learn when they are engaged and interested in a topic - not when it is crammed into them unwillingly. Tutoring particularly centres around developing a positive working relationship between student and teacher, only then will the student genuinely grow academically.
Each student is different and I will tailor everything to their needs. The first lesson will us to get to know each other so that I may carefully plan our future lessons to your needs. It would be best for the lesson to last one hour, but I am, of course, flexible if you wish for a different duration.
Lessons can be for any age, until A-Levels when I can only teach certain subjects. Otherwise all that matters is an open mind.
