About Dana
My name is Dana Lim, and I have over 10 years of experience in oil painting and customised painting. I am proud to say that I own my own boutique art gallery in Sunway-Malaysia, which is open for my students to utilize. My paintings have been sold to cafes in KLCC, law firms in Bangsar, and customised paintings have reached clients in France.
My friends always describe me as a cool and easy-going person, and I believe that an art class should be filled with joy and creativity.

This Is Your First Lesson With Me:
1. Introduction and Warm-up (5 minutes):
-Start with a quick warm-up exercise: brushstrokes and color mixing.
2. Demonstration and Instruction (20 minutes):
-Step-by-step process: creating an oil painting.
-Focus on chosen subject or technique.
-Learn color theory, brush techniques, and
composition.Guidance on materials: brushes, paints, and surfaces.
3. Hands-on Painting (30 minutes):
-Materials provided only in first lesson: canvases, brushes, palette knives, paints.
-Receive guidance to work on your oil painting.
Encouraged to experiment and explore creativity.
4. Wrap-up and Reflection (5 minutes):
-Share your painting/ideas and discuss progress.
-Receive personalized recommendations for practice, resources, or future classes.
