About Tim
I have been a qualified Art & Design teacher for the last 10 yrs, 5 of those as Head of Photography. Prior to that I worked as a freelance Photographer and Illustrator. I recently left secondary teaching to focus on developing my own ceramic practice, which I now teach at a studio in Kent.

I am passionate about art and all things creative, I've always enjoyed helping students find their own passion for the subject. I'm a strong believer in the importance of a solid foundation of skills and with the right tools and techniques the skies the limit. Depending on the level, I find that through a dialogue with the student, an appropriate plan can be created and adapted for individual needs or interests. By designing a series of thresholds for the student to work towards, students will be able to identify progress made and areas to improve.
