About Michaela
Hi, my name is Michaela and I am 21 years old.
My passion for teaching started very early on in my life. My journey began in 2019 when I started teaching Math to kids after school. Quickly I fell in love with every minute of it. I love the feeling of being able to help and making a difference. It is something I strive to do everyday and my passion and drive is what makes me want to chase my goals.
My mission in life is to help. I love working with kids and seeing them grow daily.
I believe that my teaching methods are unique. I don't like being just another teacher. I want to make my lessons creative and unique. Something that learners will remember in the future because it was memorable. I often use stories, jokes, pictures etc in my lessons to make it more interesting.
To date I have built my business from the ground up. I currently have more than 20 students who I teach every day of the week after school. My teaching methods have shown increasing progress and lots of smiles. My aim is not just to learn, but rather to teach and help you love what you are learning.
I believe I have what it takes to help you. If you would consider me as a tutor, I very much look forward to meeting you and starting this journey together.
Teaching Experience:
In 2019 I started by giving basic after school tutoring in Maths. To date I have a full grown self efficient business tutoring and giving lessons in Afrikaans, English and Math. I tutor in most subjects by helping kids find their preferred learning method and helping them adapt to it. I work with kids from the ages of under 1 year up till 18 years old.
I am very competent in what I do and have over 3 years of teaching and running a private Tutoring and learning institution.
