About Shalini Chakraborty
Hi, I am Shalini Chakraborty, currently working as an Assistant Professor at Srinath University. I have been into teaching since the first year of my college and it is definitely one thing that makes me the happiest. I like discussing views and perspectives, give space to allow your opinions to form and then engage in healthy debates. I like making my students aware of the various happenings around the World and how that would inevitably affect us, at large. I like exploring the creative tentacles and feeding them with appropriate thoughts that would enable them to sprout into glorious creations.

English has always been a fascinating language and a subject to me. As for literature, I will help you understand and contextualise texts, explain the socio-political and economic condition of the time to analyse a text better. We will try to read the texts with our present cultural understanding.
As for grammar,I will not only tell you the rules but also explain them. Exercises will be fun and intriguing.
For aspirants of creative writing, I will give you prompts that will make you write more and better, we will strive to make our language interesting and playful and also fiddle with the structure and narrative.
