About Alexandre
I am a freelance Quant in the city and part-time teacher at a London University. Tutoring comes as a natural extension of my work as it can be greatly rewarding. My students can count on more than 20 years of experience on tutoring and crucially on applying the latest mathematical techniques in the world of finance at a practical level. A naturally inquisitive mind and hard work is all I request.

Teaching and learning strategies include review/recap of work done to date, one-on-one discussions, research activities, role plays and simulations and practical exercises. The typical length of a session is 1 hour. I currently teach and tutor master-level students at a London University. I hold a PhD in Astrophysics from Imperial College. My lessons are for GCSE, A level and University level students serious about learning maths.
