Hi, I'm Ananya, and I'm genuinely excited to help you succeed. I hold a degree in Microbiology and Infectious Disease from UT Austin and am currently pursuing my Master of Public Health at UTHealth Houston, so I bring both a strong academic foundation and real research experience to every session.

Hi, I'm Ananya! I'm a graduate of UT Austin, where I studied Microbiology and Infectious Disease, and I'm currently pursuing my MPH at UTHealth Houston. My approach to tutoring starts with building genuine trust and rapport with each student — I've found that once someone feels comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment, real learning happens much faster.
A typical lesson starts with checking in on what's confusing or feels overwhelming, then breaking that material down into smaller, manageable pieces using analogies and real-world examples rather than just rote memorization. We work through practice problems together, and I make sure students can explain concepts back in their own words before moving on, since that's how I know it's actually clicked.
What sets me apart is that I don't just teach content — I teach students how to think through problems methodically, a skill that carries over long after our sessions end. I make lessons interactive and encourage questions at every step, so the process feels collaborative rather than one-directional.
My tutoring is best suited for high school and undergraduate students in biology, microbiology, chemistry, and biochemistry, as well as anyone preparing for health sciences coursework or pre-health tracks looking for a supportive, patient guide through challenging material.
