About Vongai

I'm a third culture kid raised in Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom and China with training from the illustrious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. In addition to winning Best Drama Actress at Catalyst Content Festival (formerly ITVFest) for my role in Patiri In The Promised Land, I have also appeared in off-Broadway plays and contributed my voice talents to various projects, including Universal's The Photograph and an upcoming advertising campaign for an 'international sporting event' My native accent is British, but I also have a strong handle on neutral/General American, American Southern, and African dialects which makes me a vocal chameleon.

About the lesson

Hello, I'm Vongai (she/her), your audition reader and cheerleader! I help actors prepare for, rehearse, and record auditions. | @vongaiofficial

What to Expect?
- Audition reading
- Memorization help
- Last minute Accent & Dialect help (and resource guide)
- Encouraging you to be your most empowered, fun and free self.

What Sets Me Apart?
- I've been audition reading and supporting actors for over 3 years (full 2K+ reviews upon request).
- I've helped actors book callbacks, guest star roles, commercials, short films and even Off-Broadway theater.
- Reading scripts every day keeps my cold-reading skills sharp
- I stay updated with the trades (Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Deadline)
- Aside from my film & television studies degree, I watch a lot of current TV which has helped me grasp tone, genre and nuance very quickly

Your Job?
All you have to do is show up and shine, so let's play!
