About Nicholas
Teaching individuals, groups and online, especially Business English, daily, in Italy since 1990 and also training to give Perfect Presentations, Decision-Making etc in English. 15 years at GlaxosmithKline (GSK) Italy. Other clients include Adecco, Pirelli, Alfa-Romeo and Bayer. For such training I use video camera recording and playback to save a lot of verbal explanations. Most successful adult student was a Country Director who, after my Presentations/Public Speaking course, attended his company's annual international seminar and was then promoted to Head of Europe!

This depends very much on the age, competency level, the kind of English a student wishes to improve and if there is a final aim in sight. I like to always include the four disciplines of speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as around 15 minutes watching an English language TV programme or film, at their level, which is really useful, due to ability to rewind and replay sections found to be difficult, as many times as necessary. Sometimes English Course books are used, which are especially useful for work to be done also at home.
