About Calvin

I hold a degree in dance from the University of Hartford’s Hartt School and have over six years of experience teaching ballet at the university level. I’ve also taught all ages, coached classical and contemporary repertoire, and danced professionally in multiple genres. My choreography has been performed at venues including Jacob’s Pillow. I bring both professionalism and warmth to every lesson, creating a supportive space where dancers feel inspired, respected, and challenged to grow.

About the lesson

With 19 years of dance experience and 6 years teaching ballet at the university level, I offer supportive, personalized instruction that builds strong technique and confident, expressive performers. My lessons focus not just on steps, but on artistry, presence, and the joy of movement. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your performance, I create a warm, challenging environment that helps you grow. Let’s dance!
