About Julien
I am a metal and prog-rock bassist from Quebec, I've been playing bass for 3 years, completely self-taught. You might think that's not a lot for a bass teacher, but I have proven myself to be a good teacher, having helped many friends learn my instrument.
I'm only doing this because I love teaching and interacting with people. :)

I'm more of a loose teacher. What that means is that past the necessary basics, we can take the teaching wherever you'd like.
I will teach you the basics so that you have a strong foundation to build upon, as well as help you learn your favorite songs.
What sets me apart from other tutors is obviously my fee, and the fact that I can relate to beginners, having gone through that phase not too long ago. I am also a natural teacher, I love passing on knowledge and helping people improve.
As stated previously, my lessons are for people just picking up the bass. As personally, I believe that past the beginner level, tutoring is no longer effective, when the base skills are strong.
