About Saffiya
I hold a PhD in Biochemistry, having specialised in nanotechnology to treat cancer during my postgraduate and postdoctoral career. From a young age I've shown a true aptitude for science. I currently work as an ad hoc lecturer of honours students in Biochemistry. Having spent over ten years within an academic setting, I fully understand the importance of students gaining a solid ground work in science. Having had the opportunity to train and mentor junior students, I've seen the need to instill a thorough knowledge of basic principles in order to produce independent, successful scientists in the future.
