About Melina

I am a Biological Sciences graduate from the University of Cincinnati, and am currently working as a microbiologist. I am planning to pursue graduate school for Marine Biology with the ultimate goal of becoming a research professor. I aim to use my love for science to help students understand, and get excited about, the subject of biology.

About the lesson

I understand how challenging and overwhelming it can be to grasp the numerous elements and intricacies of biological processes and ideas. Been there, felt that. My tutoring strategy involves collaborating with students to evaluate their existing knowledge and, from there, gradually constructing a path that progresses from fundamental definitions to fully developed concepts.
