About Harper
With training from the University of Michigan and years running “adventure science” workshops, I’m all about making biology inviting and vast. My students say the most exciting part is feeling like there’s always more to explore, never a closed list or boring routine. I’m patient, upbeat, and love helping quiet or nervous new students find their curiosity, voice, and place in science.

Welcome! I’m Harper, and my biology lessons are made for whoever wants to see “the whole picture”—not just cramming facts or ticking off a list. With me, biology is never reduced to a set of chapters! Every session is an open invitation to journey through any part of science you’re curious about, blending big ideas, surprising connections, and creative “what-if” thinking. Whether you’re studying for the first time or trying to shake off school nerves, you’ll learn that the world of biology has no walls—every discovery opens another door.
I use hands-on experiments (simple stuff you can try with home items), creative analogies (“biologists are like detectives!”), and group-inspired reflection (like sharing “where I saw science this week”) to keep every session dynamic. Your progress is tracked on a colorful “discovery log”—celebrating understanding, not just scores, and helping you see growth in comprehension and excitement.
