About Dominic
I am currently a cell and molecular biology major at DePaul University in Chicago. I have a 3.99 GPA, and have been on the Dean's List every term I've been at DePaul. Beyond my academic accomplishments I also have experience as a peer mentor, and I participate in research on campus. I am a co-author on two research papers that should be published within the next year, one on mathematical modeling of a vector-borne infectious disease, and one on gene modeling. Once I have completed my BS I plan to start a PhD program in microbiology or genetics.

I am happy to work with elementary through college students, with lessons carefully designed for your level and your needs. In a typical lesson we will start by going over any specific questions you have, then we'll go into a mini-lesson on that meeting's topic, before finishing by working a couple of practice problems together. My strength is in explanations, I love understanding exactly why and how the concepts we're discussing work, and that allows me to break down explanations and come up with examples that help my students really understand topics and techniques, rather than just memorizing them.
