About Samantha
I am a rising senior at the University of Michigan majoring in molecular, cellular, & developmental biology with a minor in physics. This is my first time teaching biology specifically, but I have taken 3 years of college biology courses, and I am excited for the opportunity to share the knowledge I have gained. I love working with other people, and outside of tutoring I also work as an emergency medical technician. I am additionally very patient, and I have 4 years of experience tutoring children in school courses and teaching swim lessons.

I am confident in my ability to tutor high school level biology all the way through introductory college biology courses. My techniques of instruction are pretty flexible to fit the needs of the student. Some possible approaches to instruction include creating visuals to help understand complex topics, games (such as Kahoot) to quiz the student on knowledge, and walking through practice problems together. I tutor private and group biology lessons.
