About Alok
I've completed my degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Pune University, and currently pursuing my MBA in Pharma-Biotech from DMS, SPPU. I love biology as it allows us to explore the answers to the questions of life, and I want to nurture this curiosity in as many young minds as possible.

I teach in a very interactive and knowledge based approach:
- Unlike other teachers I encourage the use of internet and google to better understand and explore concepts in depth. we always have access to google and students must learn to use it effectively.
- In a typical lecture we open the textbook, and together identify, explore, and research interesting terms and topics. going beyond the surface level helps students learn the first principles and builds curiosity for future learning.
- I'm a young and enthusiastic student myself, hence I'm intimately familiar with the educational hurdles students face these days. I'm completing my post graduation remotely and have developed techniques to not compromise my learning during the pandemic.
- I prefer to teach young school children as they have the innate curiosity that has not yet been dulled by only preparing for "a test". School students have the opportunity to choose their career ahead of them and nurturing their curiosity will open new paths for them as professionals.
