About Varsha
Hi everyone! I’m Varsha Baskar, a postgraduate Biotechnology student at the University of Reading and a proud Felix Scholar. I’m genuinely passionate about biotechnology. It’s one of the most exciting and fascinating fields in science and I’d love to share that passion with you. A teacher once inspired me to see biology in a whole new way, and I hope to do the same for you. Being a student myself, I understand the challenges you face and how important it is to learn in a way that makes sense to you. My sessions focus on building strong core concepts with clear explanations. I like to keep lessons interactive and open to your input so that we can shape the sessions around your needs and learning style. My goal is to make this a positive, engaging, and informative learning experience for you.

My teaching style is flexible and tailored to each student’s needs and interests. I follow a concept-first approach using relatable visuals and flowcharts to make complex topics easier to grasp. I provide clear, step-by-step instructions along with complementary study materials to support learning beyond the lesson. Sessions are interactive, encouraging questions, discussions, and active participation to build confidence and understanding. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes but can be adjusted based on the topic or the student’s preference.
