About Owen
For the past 10+ years, I have been teaching Trumpet to High School students, College students, and adults. During this time, I have successfully worked with around 300 students and helped them improve their knowledge, confidence, and practical skills through well-planned lessons and continuous encouragement.
My teaching philosophy is built on understanding, patience, and personalized instruction. Every learner has different strengths, so I adapt my teaching style to meet individual goals. I explain concepts using simple English and practical examples that make lessons easier to understand.
My classes include clear explanations, guided learning, practical activities, and regular progress evaluations. I encourage students to stay motivated, practice regularly, and develop confidence by learning step by step.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of the most satisfying achievements of my career. Many learners have achieved meaningful progress and developed valuable skills that continue to benefit them beyond the classroom.
I create a respectful and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is to help every learner enjoy Trumpet while reaching their highest potential.

My teaching approach is designed to make trumpet learning easy to understand and enjoyable for students of all levels. I create structured lessons that help students improve step by step while building confidence and musical knowledge. Every lesson is adapted to each student's goals and learning pace.
Motivation is at the center of my teaching philosophy. I encourage students to stay positive, practice regularly, and appreciate every achievement they make. Small improvements lead to great success over time.
Communication creates effective learning. I explain techniques clearly in simple English, demonstrate every exercise, and make sure students understand each topic before moving forward.
Integrity is reflected in my honest teaching style. I respect every student's effort and provide constructive feedback that encourages growth while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
Creativity helps students enjoy every lesson. I include breathing exercises, rhythm challenges, articulation practice, listening activities, improvisation, and performance training that improve musical confidence and technical ability.
Besides trumpet, I also teach music theory, rhythm reading, sight-reading, ear training, ensemble performance, beginner arranging, and performance techniques. My goal is to help students become confident, disciplined, and expressive musicians.
