About Nicky
I have a passion for Biological Sciences and would like to teach Life Sciences (Grade 8 – 12) or Natural Sciences (Grade 7 – 9). I believe that my vast areas of knowledge in the world of biology and my deeper understanding of child and adolescent psychology, accompanied by my resourcefulness, will be beneficial to any classroom. I plan to approach the classroom environment with excitement, empathy, and acknowledgment of the importance of a child’s mental health. I am a team player who is always eager to learn and to provide and receive help wherever possible.

I really have a passion for teaching Biology and I often form a strong connection with my students. I want them to know that I acknowledge that they are putting in the effort and I am here to support them.

A lesson will start with the introduction of concept(s). The student will then have an opportunity to inform me what concept(s) they do not understand. I will go over that particular concept and then at the end of the lesson, the student will be assessed on a new concept.
